Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular Therapy is a form of pressure therapy that has its origins in the oriental healing arts of Shiat- su and Acupressure. Utilizing the fundamental principles of oriental pressure therapies, it is a very specific hands-on deep tissue therapy for the reduction and/or the elimination of chronic myofascial (soft-tissue)

pain. This powerful therapy normalizes and harmo- nizes two very important body systems: the nervous system and the musculoskeletal system. It works toward a reversal of the stress-tension-pain cycle and the dis- solving of long-term pain patterns.
The results are often dramatic: Reduction or elimination of pain, in- creased circulation, more flexibility, deep relaxation, a feeling of well-being and euphoria with more vital energy. This is both a corrective therapy as well as one of the best preventative manual medicines availa- ble to us today.
